A shut-off notice with a 15% late fee is mailed out after 2:00 PM on the 19th of each month. If payment is not received by 8:00 AM on the 26th of each month, water service will be disconnected and a reconnect fee will be added to your bill. Water service will be reconnected after full payment of the reconnect fee and your bill have been received. See our full fee schedule.

As a property owner (or your landlord, if you rent), you are responsible for all plumbing, pipes, sprinkler systems, and other water infrastructure from your building or residence to the water meter. Ownership and responsibility for the water service transfers at the meter — LAN-DEL Water District is responsible for the water main and service line up to and including the meter.
Cross-connections are points in the water system where non-potable water sources on your property could contact drinking water. Examples include swimming pools, landscape irrigation systems, pesticide and fertilizer sprayers, and other appliances and equipment that use water. A dual check-valve system was installed on your water meter to help prevent this risk. See Backflow Prevention Requirements.
Cross connections can occur in the event the system loses pressure, creating a siphon effect and drawing water from within your home system back into the public system. See Backflow Prevention Requirements.
Water quality reports are available in our office or on this website.
