How to Set Up Service

LAN-DEL Water District offers several convenient ways to set up new water service.

Ways to Set Up Service

Visit Our Office

  • Set up a new account.
  • Pay the $75 non-refundable connection fee.
  • Provide a copy of a valid driver's license.
  • Sign the contract.

Email Us

  • Pay the $75 connection fee over the phone using a credit/debit card.
  • Complete and submit the service agreement form online.
  • Email a copy of your driver's license to office@lan-del.com.

Use the Night Drop Box

  • Include the $75 connection fee payment and a copy of your driver's license.
  • Complete and submit the service agreement form online.

Once payment is received, we will begin processing your account.

Information Required to Start Service

  1. Name(s) exactly as they should appear on the account.
  2. Service address and billing address (if different).
  3. Desired service start date.
  4. Phone number and contact information.
  5. Copy of a valid driver's license.
  6. Whether you are the homeowner or renter.
  7. If water service is currently off, someone must be present at the property when service is restored.
  8. $75 non-refundable connection fee.

LAN-DEL Water District provides water service only; trash and sewer are provided by the City of Lansing.
